 A public hearing before the Camdenton Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled for Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at 5:30 p.m., City Hall, 437 W US Hwy 54, Camdenton, Missouri.

The purpose of the public hearing is for the Planning and Zoning Commission to consider 12-01PZ ; Special Use Permit requested by Verizon Wireless, to consider the modification of the existing wireless communication tower defined by Section 400.197, Regulating the Siting of Wireless Communications Facilites of the Camdenton City Code. Property briefly being described as: 41 Oklahoma St. SW

And to consider 12-02PZ; Amendments to the City Code of Camdenton, Title IV: Zoning Code, Section 400.220: Sign Regulations

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

 Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Camdenton, Missouri until Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 2:30 PM for the Relocation of Outfall #1 Project, Camdenton, Missouri.

 The sewer system improvements shall consist of relocating to the existing outfall by extending it to a new location with 1,150 linear feet of 12-inch PVC gravity line, 50 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron gravity line for a buried creek crossing, and 5 manholes.

Plans and specifications are on file for examination at the office of the engineer, Darren Krehbiel Consultants, LLC, 63 Blair Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri, 65020 from whom the plans and specifications may be obtained for a non-refundable sum of $100.00 (One hundred dollars).

 Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided with the specifications and be accompanied by the Bidder's certified check or bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid. A performance bond will be required of the successful bidder.  No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and select the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City.

 Attention of bidders is called to the prevailing hourly rate of wages in the locality for each type of worker needed to execute the contract and also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, all as determined by the Division of Labor Standards Section 290.250.

Successful bidder shall comply with the provisions of Section 285.525 through 285.550 RSMo regarding the hiring of illegal workers; Section 292.675 RSMo regarding OSHA requirements; and   Sections 290.550 through 290.580 RSMo regarding excessive unemployment.

A Pre-bid Conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at the City Hall in Camdenton, Missouri.

LABORER I PUBLIC WORKS

The City of Camdenton is accepting applications for a Street Laborer I in the Public Works Department.  Starting hourly wage is $10.00 with benefits (hospitalization, dental, vacation & retirement).  Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Must have a general knowledge of operating equipment and able to operate a 1-Ton Truck and able to plow snow.  Interested individuals are requested to fill out an application which is available on-line at www.camdentoncity.com or at Camdenton City Hall, 437 W US Hwy 54, Camdenton, MO between 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Monday-Friday.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  The City of Camdenton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
