This City was incorporated on May 29, 1931. We have a Mayor/City Administrator/Board of Aldermen form of government. Click here to view our Mission Statement.

There are six Board of Aldermen, two from each Ward, which include Ward I, Ward II, and Ward III. Board members must be at least 21 years of age and live in the city for one (1) year. They are elected for two-year terms.

The Board of Aldermen are the policymakers for the City, and the City Administrator implements those policies in the operation of the City.

The Board members are the voice of the residents and businesses within their Wards. To be effective, they need to hear from those persons who express their desires for the operation and improvements in this City.

The Board of Aldermen approves the annual report and believes it is a positive method of informing the community of the activities performed during the past year.

The Board of Aldermen works for all the citizens of Camdenton. Citizen suggestions are important and are required to make the right decisions for our community.
