City Administrator Brenda Colter

The City Administrator, under the supervision of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, serves as the chief executive officer to the Board and has general superintending control of the administration and management of the government business, officers and employees of the City.

Functions of the City Administrator's Office:

·         Purchasing & Bid Specification Oversight

·         Council Support/Relations

·         City Budget, Financial Planning & Reporting 

·         Organizational Development

·         Community Relations

·         Act as Liaison between City Boards and Committees

·         Oversee Grant Research/Application/Administration

The Economic Development Department is responsible for advancing the economic interest of Camdenton by fostering communication and cooperation, and encouraging collaborative efforts between the City, the business community and citizens; leading to sustainable economic growth and prosperity for all.  Through retention and expansion of the employment base, improvements to public infrastructure and the growth of the City’s fiscal position, prosperity can be achieved.  Major activities include planning for future expansion; working with the business community and developers in an effort to stimulate growth; and being active in regional and state economic development communities to create and expand awareness about Camdenton.

 All projects undertaken require coordination and cooperation between developers, City officials and state representatives.  Camdenton’s vision is based on what is valued most by the citizens of the community.  The Board of Aldermen, Mayor and City staff is committed to planning, analyzing options and working together with all partners to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Camdenton.

City Clerk Renée Kingston

The Administration Department serves as the central processor for all departments within the City of Camdenton, providing customer service to its citizens, interacting with all department employees, and communicating information to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

Administration is responsible for:

• Receipt of Funds

• Payment of Expenses

• Water/Sewer Billing

• Municipal Court

• Record Keeping *Request for Records Form*
